LTM: Let's Talk Models

Beginning in late March 2020 the Club began meeting over Zoom. Unfortunately I was awful at keeping notes -- mainly because I was enjoying the show! 

The Club quickly got into a routine where every Thursday from 7pm until we were done we would talk about scale models. The usual process of announcements followed by a round table where each person on the video conference would show their scale model, talk about their progress or that it was complete. Not everyone showed a model, but the bottom line was we got to chat and keep up with who was doing what. 

I started keeping track, and on April 8, 2020 we had our 3rd session online but I did not always keep notes. Stats I do have:

• Gift Exchange -- We did this virtually and frankly had one of the more fun gift exchanges than we did face-to-face.  We figured out some rules, threw those out after about 10 minutes and the scramble for swapping gifts was on!  25 modelers participated with 1 simple rule -- if you opt in, you have to meet me to swap your donated gift for the gift you won.

• We discussed in detail our future post-pandemic.  Unfortunately the member who was our "in" for the NSi conference room retired and was moving away soon, meaning that by the time Maryland allowed us to meet again we would not have a location to meet.
